St. Andrews College of Nursing is a Christian minority institution established under St. Andrews Education Foundation, Pune. St. Andrews Education Foundation, Pune, is a charitable trust, established under the Public Trust Act of 1950.
The College started Basic B.Sc. nursing programme on 6th November 2006, recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi and Maharashtra Nursing Council (MNC), Mumbai. Permission was granted by Government of Maharashtra. The College is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. St Andrews further grew and started the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing in 2009.
Driven by a steadfast commitment to academic excellence and the ever-growing demands of specialised healthcare, St Andrews College of Nursing marked the year 2009 as a defining chapter in its institutional journey. Building upon a strong foundation of undergraduate nursing education, the college extended its academic portfolio by introducing significant higher-level programmes — the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (PBBSc) in 2009 and received the necessary approvals from the Indian Nursing Council (INC) , Maharashtra Nursing Council, and affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences university, signifying the institution’s dedication to regulated, quality-driven nursing education.
